Bra “for the soul”
Hello in a nice Sunday morning . Today I have the pleasure to present you three new asanas with Misslopez yoga expert, Marisol Hume from Chile living in Sweden. Asanas means, yoga postures as you can see in the picture. Check it out and most important of all, practice them! to Feelgood and even better.
1 – Virabhadrasana A / “Warrior Posture A”, (left). This position is performed standing (standing). The front leg is placed parallel and bent at an angle of 90 degrees. The back leg hip rotation is placed * inside foot at 45 degrees. It remains the position during the course of 3-5 deep breaths, and then proceed with the other leg. It is an excellent position to strengthen the legs, and stretch spine and arms. 2 – Tittibhasana / “Insect Posture” (top right). This is a position of balance that is carried out on the upper extremities. To bring and hold the body on the arms, finding the right balance of weight pulling the legs at the shoulders. It remains the position during the course of 5-10 deep breaths. It is an excellent position to strengthen the wrists, forearms, arms and shoulders. Like everything on the arms balance, has two characteristics:
a-These are the backbone to the horizontal plane.
b-The only body surface that is in contact with the ground, is the hands. 3 – Posture of preparation (below) to: Matsyasana / ” Fish Posture “& Uttana Padasana /” Extended Leg Posture “
Padasana Uttana Matsyasana and positions require a high degree of flexibility in the extension direction of movement of the spine so keep this in mind. Also add the requirement of legs in the lotus position, or elevation of legs respectively which significantly increases the degree of difficulty.
This approach frees the work of the legs, and focuses on the extension movement of the spine, lying on your back, arching the spine as a fulcrum having forearms, and head. Is maintained during the course of five deep breaths. Beginners should practice self-taught and get supervised by an expert in yoga.
Find peace with yoga every day of the week and Feelgood
Hello there!. Today is Saturday so time to recharge batteries!. One of the best things you can do is yoga so here come more tips for you from our yoga expert Marisol Hume in the picture. More info about yoga in Marisol´s blog.
Two words to have in mind in yoga: Ha and Tha, form the word Hatha. Ha means sun and Tha means moon.Yoga, among its many meanings means union. Hatha yoga is physical yoga – body work, yoga united forces, symbolized in the figures of the sun and the moon. It is the union of the principles of opposite and complementary energies inherent in all matter and life.
The most tangible we have to come to mind is the body so through our body we get in contact with our mind: body and mind together.
We present three positions to work the whole body stretching. Left: One-Legged Downward Facing Dog Pose. We encourage beginners to try the position without raising legs. For the more advanced in the reverse direction, we present two variants (top right): Inverted Bow Pose in advanced variation of straight legs, and one that is easier to well-known position by dancers (right below).
I love this expression in old Latin everybody know at least in Spain: “Men sana in corpore sano”, something like a healthy soul in a healthy body. Even at the times of the Roman empire people knew the connection betwen your body and your mind/soul!. So keep a healthy body and Feelgood everybody
Hello!. Here comes our yoga expert again, Marisol Hume and I want to share with you her best tips. Of course we are going to talk about “The Technical System Wall ®, STP. / The wall system”, her system by the way. A bit of information: STP. is a conscious bodywork technique which is within body techniques such as Pilates, Alexander technique, Feldenkrais system.
STP. is a method of postural alignment that put the emphasis on the implementation of the movement. Work aspects: flexibility, stretching, precision, balance and core body strengthening, with emphasis on the intended action. THE STP. An alternative technique is available to anyone who wants to understand and prepare your body significantly, with maximum energy savings and efficiency. A system which develops intelligence and body proprioception. Easy to connect the individual with herself, making it awared, with body and mind in a conscious action. The book of Marisol Hume that introduced this system has been released by publisher paidotribes in Spain, in June 2009. And available in all countries of Latin America. In the book “The System of the technique of the Wall” presents forty-five exercises and four sequences. The exercises are conducted in the supine position, sitting and standing. Factors to be highlighted are: conscious breathing, and elimination of the impact on the joints. The body saves energy by not presenting major opposition to the force of gravity, since the exercises are conducted with the aid of the wall.
This is why it is a tool for alignment of the spine and posture correction. It is an excellent method for the study, analysis, and learning new positions in disciplines such as dance, yoga, gymnastics, etc.The practice of STP using a wise energy investment, generates an elastic body, sensitive, aligned, and postural awareness.
For professionals as an instrument of expression, it is a preventive method to avoid injury while preparing for greater challenges.
I propose the following exercise, a comprehensive stretching the body wall run great for maintaining flexibility and body young. Have a look at Marisol!
From lying down with legs straight on the wall. Photo one: The first level for beginners: elevation of the trunk on the forearm with lengthening of the back in a plane diagonal to the ground. Strong abdominal muscle contraction. Hold this position for ten breaths chest, then down and repeat. Photo two: level: closed in a great stretch of the whole body together lead to the legs and the torso. Hold this position for ten breaths, then down and repeat.
Do you dare?. Good your you…I promise I am going to try like Marisol. By the way check Marisol Hume´s blog! Practice yoga, pilates, or STP and Feel Good!
