Use energy saving light bulbs, use public transportation, put the dishwasher rather than washing dishes by hand …
Reduce consumption and recycle more.
These are actions although seem insignificant, actually are not.

Maybe Britain´s first lady and Prime Minister to be!. Her name is Miriam Gonzalez Durántez and on 6 May could change her London house to live in 10 Downing Street, the residence of the Prime Ministers of Great Britain , and become Britain´s First Lady next May 6.
Her husband, Nick Clegg , is the leader candidate of the Liberal Party and may become the next prime minister. His party is the third political force in the country and compete in the polls against Gordon Brown , the current prime minister and Labor Party leader, and against the conservative David Cameron.
Miriam is born in Spain, Olmedo, a town of 4,000 inhabitants close to Valladolid and Madrid. She, a 41 years old lawyer, has become the best support for her husband in his race to win the next general election. The media has been praising her discretion , professionalism and style, perfect for a first lady!.
Miriam has been involved in politics since she was little because her father, Jose Antonio Gonzalez was mayor of Olmedo, and a politician in Madrid. Her mother, Mercedes Durántez, studied law at the University of Valladolid.
Miriam Gonzalez and Nick Clegg met in Belgium, while studying at College. At first they spoke to each other in French and then in English, but later Nick, learned Spanish. Miriam keeps in mind that when they first traveled to Spain, they were listening to tapes of Spanish classes and he had a very funny Mexican accent at the beginning.
Since then everything went smoothly, they got married in 2000 and have now three children Antonio, seven, Alberto, four, and Miguel, one. In an interview for a Spanish paper, El Mundo, Miriam said to be very proud of her origins, saying: “I’m from Olmedo, I’m from Spain and I’m very Castilian and I like it to be because the Spaniards from this region are very austere, noble and loyal. ” In a statement to that newspaper, which also includes the magazine Hola Miriam also said that her husband is “the best man in the world”, but has a flaw: “It’s a total disaster in the kitchen.”

Good news for Spain lovers living in Stockholm!
For the first time ever, a Spanish film festival will take place in the Swedish capital city.
The festival will take place at Bio Rio (independent movie theatre) located in Hornstulls strand (Södermalm), from the 16th till the 23th April.
The choice of the movies is really interesting and follows four different lines:
A short film – from the Canary islands, Basque region, Catalonia and Madrid – will be projected before every movie.
The festival will end next Friday, with the premier of the movie Ágora, by the Oscar awarded Alejandro Amenábar.

The present and the future of the European monarchies have gathered for the celebrations of the 70th birthday of Queen Margrethe of Denmark .
In honor to the Danish sovereign the week began with a dinner at the Christiansborg Palace. In the big day, Queen Margrethe II was waving from the balcony of Amalienborg Palace with her family and hundreds of citizens in the square were there to cheer. Then to follow a private dinner held in Fredensborg Palace.
The future Queens and Kings of the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Denmark all in the picture, Maximum and William, Mette-Marit and Haakon, swedish Victoria and her fiance, Daniel Westling and Frederick and Mary were the stars of the night.
They brought glamour, joy and youth at Fredensborg Palace.

News about the Royal wedding of Princess Victoria of Sweden with Daniel Westling:
just two months to the big day, the Royal Swedish website shows now information about the royal wedding.
The program will start on Thursday 17 June with a private dinner at the Drottningholm Palace, chaired by King Carl Gustav and Silvia of Sweden, and on Friday 18 June, will be a reception by the Government in the Stockholm City Hall and an evening concert at the Stockholm Concert Hall to be chaired by the Swedish Parliament.
The big day, Saturday, 19 June, the couple will promise eternal love at 15:30 hours in the Stockholm Cathedral. After the wedding will follow the parade at the Royal Barge, and finally, the traditional wedding banquet at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
