Galicien vid Atlantkusten – ger upplevelser för alla sinnen
Galicien i Spaniens nordvästra hörn mot Atlantkusten erbjuder upplevelser för alla sinnen. Vi får möta Miss Lopez som kommer från Galicien och berättar i både tal och bilder och ger många fina lokala tips! Galicien är en mytomspunnen och autonom region som indelats i fyra landskap. Landskapet A Coruña som ligger i det nordvästra hörnet är kvällens fokus. Santiago de Compostela är centralort i A Coruña och Galiciens huvudstad med regionens biskopssäte.

A Coruña erbjuder både geografiska, historiska, kulturarvsrika och kulinariska upplevelser. Vid Atlantkusten frestar härliga badstränder, snorkling, fisketurer och tuff vågsurfing. Maten inbjuder särskilt vid kusten till att man vill pröva havets alla läckerheter. Caminon, pilgrimsvägen i norra Spanien med valfri längd till katedralen i Santiago de Compostela lockar människor från hela världen. Katedralen i Santiago de Compostela är sedan medeltiden en vallfartsort för pilgrimer. Hit vandrade den heliga Birgitta, helgonkanoniserad 1391 av påven, och hennes man Ulf Gudmarsson 1341–42 och det är alltjämt målet för många pilgrimsvandringar idag. Först med Gustav Vasa övergav Sverige den katolska tron och reformerades och vi blev protestanter.

En resa till A Coruña ger upplevelser som både berikar och vidgar ens kunskaper om Spanien på ett inspirerande sätt för alla sinnen.

Galicia on the Atlantic coast – provides experiences for all the senses
Galicia in the northwestern corner of Spain towards the Atlantic coast offers experiences for all the senses. We get to meet Señora Lopez who comes from Galicia and tells in both speeches and pictures and gives many nice local tips! Galicia is a mythical and autonomous region divided into four provinces. The landscape of A Coruña, located in the northwest corner, is the focus of the evening. Santiago de Compostela is the central town of A Coruña and the capital of Galicia with the episcopal see of the region.

A Coruña offers both geographical, historical, cultural heritage, and culinary experiences. The Atlantic coast tempts beautiful beaches, snorkeling, fishing trips, and tough wave surfing. The food especially on the coast invites you to try all the delicacies of the sea. The Camino, the pilgrimage route in northern Spain of any length to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, attracts people from all over the world. The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela has been a place of pilgrimage for pilgrims since the Middle Ages.
