In peace & the 27 music club: Amy Winehouse´s amazing Rehab

I love this song! Amy Winehouse, known for her distinctive ‘black voice’ and talent for composing, winner of five Grammy awards is gone…
The birth of a myth, Amy has become now part of a group of young musicians who died at age 27 as Kurt Cobain, Jimmy Hendrix, Brian Jones (Rolling Stones) Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison.
May she rest in peace
Viva Amy Winehouse´s music ever after

Miss Lopez at sculpter Soledad Penalta´s home in A Coruña, Spain

Hello amigos from Spain! I am amazed after reading the El Pais news about what happened in Norway & El Cid Campeador in the Spanish reconquista…

Well, today I´ve met my old friend Miss Marisol in the picture with me. Her mother, Soledad Penalta is a well known  sculpter in Galicia, Spain with studies from USA, Minneapolis where we met too a long time ago and now she has vernissage internationally too. One in Paris, France coming soon. A really amazing woman! 🙂 I must say it´s would be nice to introduce her work & art in Scandinavia too. Cool!

Nowadays she has focus on metal sculptures and I love it! 🙂

Then we went the whole family and my Dear friend Miss Marisol (she is a gest blogger at Miss Lopez too) to a “feria” with many small shops and music and we had a great time.

And tomorrow it is a BIG day in Spain: Saint Jacob´s day, el día de Santiago. More news coming soon,. Ciao!!

Do you believe in utopias? Viva la tolerancia and human rights!

Hi! I am still chocked about what happened in Norway yesterday. Sorry from here.
Today I want to share with you this post in Spanish from El Pais paper. You know there is a phenomenon that has marked the publishing world in recent years, Nordic crime novels (Wallander, Stieg Larsson…) Here in Spain people really love Millenium…The thing is the Scancinavian countries have always been an example of extremely advanced societies, a perfect society: the rights of women or their ability in helping refugees, its commitment to social justice, health systems … However, these crime novels show a picture of dissatisfaction. Is there a connection?…
Basically, we are told that there are no perfect societies, only humans. And You, what do you think?
Viva tolerance, human rights and Feelgood!
