I am against hate crimes, whatever!. It may have taken Ricky Martin 38 years to come out of the closet, but the Latino pop singer—who admitted that he’s “a fortunate Gay man” in March—refuses to be silent about his sexuality anymore. Martin is one of three gay celebs—including Elton John and Wanda Sykes—speaking out about hate crimes in a new, anti-bullying PSA for Cyndi Lauper’s Give A Damn Campaign. “It is time for things to change,” Martin stresses in the video, which premiered Monday night on CNN’s Larry King Live.
