This is a view at night of La Gran Via in Madrid.
The Spanish capital  is celebrating  today the day of San Isidro, patron of the city. This year the traditional meadow of San Isidro will have a competitor: the Gran Via, where it has installed a huge blue carpet (Movistar pays tribute to the popular street) from Calle Alcalá to Plaza of Spain. Among the different activities you can enjoy outdoor concerts, a fireworks extravaganza and the party where you can blow  hundred candles in a huge cake to celebrate the centenary of the Gran Vía.
I think this is the est time of year to visit Madrid, so do not miss it!
